Portraits

Lady Gaga
On the right, roses appear in various stages of bloom, including Stefani as a rose herself—symbolizing love, passion, and creativity. A solar eclipse introduces transformation and duality: bloom and thorn, light and shadow. Amplified by eclipse energy, the roses reflect the power and intention of love.
On the left, a formation of fifteen crystals represents dynamic energy—creativity, change, and freedom. Reduced numerologically to six, they also embody love and family. As amplifiers of energy, the crystals balance, cleanse, and elevate physical, emotional, and spiritual states.
The eclipse represents the meeting of opposites—light and dark, masculine and feminine, known and unknown—revealing hidden truths and the subconscious. Above the crystals, a manifestation begins to form, symbolizing release and transformation.
Everything within this piece points to a single force:
love as an expansive, healing energy without limits.

Buffalo Chief
This piece is a portrait rooted in presence, strength, and identity. The figure stands against a bold red field, drawing focus to the buffalo headdress—its curved horns and cascading fur symbolizing power, endurance, and connection to something deeper than the physical form.
The expression is calm and grounded, carrying a quiet resilience. There’s a stillness in the face that speaks without force—something lived, not performed.
The tones remain earthy and natural, keeping the figure connected to the land, while the contrast of the background elevates the energy surrounding him.
This painting is not just about appearance—it’s about honoring spirit, heritage, and the weight of history carried within a single presence.

I met Karma in a Ramen Bar and was struck by her brilliant energy and beautiful smile. I asked if I could take a photo as I wanted to paint her and she agreed. What you see here is what I saw. She was blooming and had the protection of a Lioness and abundance in all things. She has a beautiful spirit and if you run across her be sure and let her know. Keep smiling Karma, it was a joy to pull from the canvas what it desired to reveal about you!!

Mold Queen
A figure emerges at the center of transformation — where decay becomes creation. Inspired by an artist who works directly with mold, this piece explores the tension between destruction and beauty, revealing life within what is often overlooked or rejected.
The composition breaks apart and rebuilds simultaneously, with organic textures and erupting color symbolizing growth through unexpected forms. What appears chaotic carries intention — a reminder that creation doesn’t always come from control, but from allowing nature to speak.
